Fast developing, yet multi-tiered and fragmented, the UAV industry is currently at the top of the innovation hype. Nevertheless, whilst most technological and aerodynamics issues are currently being resolved, time has come to enhance the consistency of the manufacturing value chain and stabilise business models.

The UK has a strong track record in this industry, with military applications now being efficiently adapted to civilian markets. Switzerland is recognised as a world leader in innovation, complex industrialisation and successfully taking disruptive inventions to the market. Both countries share an outstanding academic landscape.

Taking these differentiating factors into account, our speakers will highlight where and why Switzerland and British organisations could successfully collaborate to create sustainable commercial success in the UAV industry.
